The nutritionist, doctors, nurses and corp staff are great.
Desk staff treats you inappropriately, doctors honestly don't care about you, The course of my daughters 2+yr treatment, depression, ADHD, Offered no help or School advice. No callbacks / not to school not to the parent. Wrong appt dates given. For my own condition, Because I missed 3 appts in a year. . (random/inconsistent reminder calls) They droped me!!! No response no contact won't refill any medicine won't let me back. These are coldhearted people. They don't even offer another place for you to go? They Throw you to the street!? I'd like to give no star. The main doctor the boss!? he's the coldest and worst one of all.. most horrible experience of my life .. seriously felt and was treated like I was nobody. They will Treat you like you have a mental illness. Don't go here.

I have only been here twice to the mental health center, but everyone is courteous and professional. A couple of phone issues but I may not have the right numbers. My doctor Dr. Gilman and therapist, Juhi were very nice. The offices are very clean the facility is pleasant to go to.The setting is like an old college campus.
I had a very good experience here. I was treated with respect and dignity, the unit was clean, and I felt safe. The only thing I did not like was that my psychiatrist used manipulation to get me to agree to change my medicine.
My Mom was at the rehab at CHC for stroke and left worse than how she came. She came in on a sliding board to transfer in and out of bed and left using a hoyer. Thankfully, I got her into a subsequent rehab that got her better. She now does pivot transfers and can walk with assistance to bed. CHC didn’t seem to know how to treat my Mom. She fell multiple times (twice out of bed and once out of her chair). She was over medicated and missed a week of rehab due to really bad muscle spasms. The physiatrist told me she’ll never walk more than a few steps, if that. I have news for him. We brought her to a half mile walk for stroke survivors and she walked more than a few steps. If I listened to the physiatrist and others at CHC, my Mom would be in the nursing home there. Thankfully, I didn’t give up on her and she is still improving every week. I had to ask that some of the aides not be with my Mom because they were demeaning and made her cry. Some of the nurses tried to help and communicated well. One of the OT’s (Margo) and PT’s (don’t remember her name) were good. I really feel that CHC gave up on my Mom and/or felt that she was too much to handle. After CHC discharged my Mom, I brought her to a new rehab who got her better so that she could come home to me. A word of advice to family members: make sure you visit your family member in a rehab or nursing home frequently, and if you know someone who has a stroke, never give up on them because with proper therapy, they can get better!
